Just got back from a week long tour in the midwest. Man, it was a busy week! I could only take a few pictures from any of the events (lines were longgggggg...I could tell no one wanted to wait for me to fiddle with the camera on my cell phone) but here's a couple of them. These lucky victims are Brandie and Doug respectively. I actually did a caricature of Brandie about a year ago, and her hair was so long at the time that *I* thought she looked like a mermaid (hence the mermaid in the background this time around). Doug was a tougher nut to crack, but he mentioned something about his time as a sailor, so i figured I'd use that to draw in my favorite cartoon character of all time...if you give me even the SLIGHTEST hint that I can draw Popeye into a caricature, it's a LOCK that I'll oblige!

P.S. Found this late addition to the midwest madness! Amber was nice enough to let me use her caricature, and she makes a stunning mermaid. It's a little rough compared to the above caricatures (this was my second caricature of this event, those two above were my last two of that event...warming up makes a big difference!) but overall I like it :)
